I recently had the pleasure of photographing the dynamic duo, Dave and Kaytlyn for a beautiful engagement session! After a couple of rain-related reschedules, the weather finally smiled upon us, as we scored a day filled with dreamy, golden sunlight. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Dave’s Falls in Amberg, WI, this session was an absolute blast from start to finish.

Dave’s Falls is a one of my favorite places to visit and perfectly captures the essence of Dave and Kaytlyn’s love story. A love story that has been eight years in the making! Their connection and joy were infections and I knew from the moment they stepped out of their truck, we were going to have a great time.

From the very beginning, the air was filled with their giggles and inside jokes. We shared plenty of hilarious moments, including a playful dare to dip their toes into the water. Without hesitation, accept a little from Dave thinking the water was a little too cold, they took the plunge, and we joked about me being ready to capture any unexpected water stunts on camera.

As the session drew to a close, the excitement for their upcoming September wedding was visible. With each click of the camera shutter, we captured the raw emotions, love, and laughter that will forever be cherished in their engagement photos. September can’t come fast enough, as it promises to be a celebration of their incredible love story, a day filled with joy, laughter, and dancing under the stars.
