A January Engagement for me, is typically filled with puffy jackets and white snowy hills. But I’ll take the dreamy sunshine and golden grasses any time! In fact, Chad & Chelsea had the perfect evening for my little photographers heart.

Getting to photograph engagement photos, and eventually a wedding, for Chad and Chelsea is so special. First I photographed the wedding of Chelsea’s sister last year. Second, If you ask Chelsea, this engagement was a long time coming! And I can relate!

I’ve known these two for a few years now simply because we share a common friends group, so our time together was natural and made capturing their love so easy for me. We had so much fun driving around on Chad’s family land looking for the perfect spots. With such a variety, combined by the setting sun, I wound up with way too many favorites. I can’t wait to celebrate their big day!
