Sometimes, the wedding day doesn’t go quite as planned. Like Chad and Chelsea’s summer wedding at The Barn at Sunset Acres. We were set up and ready to go for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. But rain was in the forecast, and at the very last second the call was made to move everything indoors. And I mean the very last second!
The crew from the Barn were amazing! The location change was called about 5 minutes before we were supposed to start, and these workers powered through and completed a brand new set up in less than 15 minutes! They were incredible! And I will say we made the best call because we could hear the pouring rain hitting the roof, in the middle of the ceremony.
But the rain could not dampen the day. Chelsea was the most chill bride, and smiled through the entire change. She was just happy the day was finally here. And while the rain kept us inside for ceremony, it let up and still allowed for all our portraits to be taken out and around the venue landscape. It finally started back up later that night while the barn doors were opened and everyone was warmly inside dancing the night away.
The night was filled with love, laughter, and epic dance moves by everyone. The biggest CONGRATULATIONS to Chad and Chelsea. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of your biggest day yet.
