Valentine’s Day Weekend! I love any reason to make Ben take me out for dinner! Ben’s not the type to get excited over any holidays, but he puts up with them for my own enjoyment. He must like me a little 🙂
Typically, I try to find something small to gift to Ben, like a bottle of his favorite whiskey, but this year I found the best gift yet! A local woman makes custom cookies and runs holiday specials. So, I decided to finally get some! Let me tell you, they are just as delicious as they are adorable! You need to check her out – Tina’s Cookie Corner. You wont be disappointed.
Besides those cookies, our Valentines Day was pretty low key. Ben got me some beautiful flowers, and then took me out for some Friday night fish. Can you say #wisconsin? We stayed out for a few after-dinner drinks then went home where we both fell asleep on the couch watching Netflix. (A perfect night.)
