Attempts at some winter selfies with Milo | Home, Peshtigo,WI

I love the snow, well, I love looking at it and playing in it. I could live without shoveling it or driving in it. However, we had the most amazing snowfall last weekend and since I didn’t have any models, I decided to attempt some pictures of myself and Milo! It did not go as planned…

Milo is my energetic two year old lab, and he LOVES the snow. Milo also loves fetch, and spends 99% of his time trying to get anyone to play with him. Combine those two things, and you have a hard time getting a “good” picture.

I ended up setting my camera up on a tripod in the doorway leading out to my back yard. After connecting my smartphone to my camera, I started the attempt of wrangling in the dog. The effort was short lived, since it was obvious Milo wasn’t interested in a cute “Instagram” worthy snapshot of us.

I decided it was better to just give in and throw the rope, which made Milo much happier. The pictures are not what I imagined, however they do sum up Milo’s personality. I hope you enjoy this little slice of my life, and let me know if you have any dog-selfie tips!
